Okay some people might wonder why I have those awards. Well I have two accounts on blogger and I got the on my other one, but this is my main Lord of the Rings blog so i wanted to put them up on this one. So I did get these awards fairly, but not on this account.
wait... Morgoth is from Lord of the Rings?
ReplyDeleteI thought I made it up!!!
Well, thanks for telling me! *gasps*
LOL! Morgoth is the first dark lord. Sauron was his second in command. Then Morgoth got killed by the Valar (people who created middle earth) and there was peace. Then Sauron made his own kingdom and there you have the 2nd and 3rd ages.
ReplyDeleteIf you like Lotrs you should definitely read the Silmarilion.
Sauron is basically just a really powerful Balrog.
Oh and just a small quote.
"A balrog of morgoth!" -Legolas at the bridge of Khazad Dume.
Hehe, critique away. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's funny that i didn't know about Morgoth - I'm just reading the Silmarillion right now :)
I'm actually a few chapters into it!
Oh, you're right. Legolas did say that *smacks forehead*
By the way...have you ever considered becoming a professional critic? *ducks to avoid flying objects* =D
Heeheehee now you can be a true Tolkien fan. Or as my good friends and I would say, FANATIC!! :D
ReplyDeleteI've read the Silmarillion 8 times now and it never gets boring.
Teehee, yep Leggy does say that, in the book and the movie.
I've thought about it but honestly..critics aren't very well liked and I would prefer to be a CAD artist and a book writer. Though I'll probably not make either.
And why would there be flying objects? *grins innocently.*
Why did you not post your banner, mellon-nin?
ReplyDeleteI wish to see it!
Lady Ëarwen
No, The Vala(r) did not make middle earth, they just crafted it into what it is known as. Eru created it, however, it was mostly a barren wasteland. The banners are quite cool. I shall have to make some for myself. :D
ReplyDeleteAa' lasser en lle coia orn n' omenta gurtha, Auta miqula orqu.
And my quote?
"Khazad Barak! Khazad ai-menu!" ~Gimli
Nor did the Valar kill Morgoth, they merely banished him beyond the walls of night, and if you know anything of the prophesy of the last battle, you would also know that Morgoth will return. Amongst other things. How can you have read the Silmarillion 8 times, and make such a mistake!
ReplyDeleteWow it's easy to tell you're an engineer. LOL
ReplyDeleteI used the word too general. I meant more as in... he's as good as dead.
